WHAT IS MICRO-NEEDLING?
Micro-needling device designed to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and scars on the face and body.
It allows for controlled induction of the skin’s self-repair process by creating thousands of precise micro-injuries in the dermis, automatically triggering new collagen synthesis without causing scar tissue formation.
Micro-needling has been safely used in a wide variety of patient-types including patients of all skin-types. It stimulates your skin’s natural ability to repair itself.
Variable depths (.25mm to 2.5mm) are used to provide significant versatility to create change in many areas of the body, including the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back. The actual procedure typically takes 60 minutes start to finish, depending on the size and number of areas treated and the severity of damage on the skin and results in little to no downtime for the patient.

WHAT IS PLATELET RICH PLASMA THERAPY?
Platelet Rich Plasma is relatively simple to obtain and the entire process can be done in-office in less than a half-hour. A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient and then spun in a centrifuge. This separates the platelets – which comprise just a tiny percentage of the blood – from red and white blood cells. By isolating the platelets, you’re able to produce a highly-concentrated plasma. This is then injected into the area of skin being treated, releasing growth factors that recruit and increase reparative cells. Since platelet rich plasma is produced from the patient’s own blood, it stimulates your own Growth Factors to “rev up” which makes it is the ultimate in “natural” healing.
NO RISK OF SIDE-EFFECTS
Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy has been well-received by physicians and patients because it is safe and effective. PRP takes a small amount of the patient’s own blood, therefore there is no risk of disease transmission, rejection, or toxic reaction. This reduces the risk of infection and makes the procedure much less complicated to apply to the patient.
